Nancy joined MWA in 2009. She manages our water quality monitoring work, which includes the River Watcher volunteer monitoring program, as well as monitoring associated with our many projects. Nancy has worked in the world of water quality monitoring and citizen science since 1999. Prior to coming to MWA, Nancy worked for NJDEP and was on the design team on the Water Quality Data Exchange Project; her work involved insuring that citizen collected data could be submitted to NJDEP electronically.
Nancy has a B.A. in Biology from University of Pennsylvania, and additional training in Stream Ecology from the University of Michigan Biological Station. Nancy is a member of the New Jersey State Water Quality Monitoring Council and is an Environmental Commissioner for Lebanon Township in Hunterdon County. Among her many pursuits, she is an avid gardener and bird watcher.
