The Comprehensive Vision Plan for the Musconetcong Watershed
In December 2024, the MWA Board of Trustees approved Resilient Musconetcong 2050, the Comprehensive Vision Plan for the Watershed. The Vision Plan was co-created over 18 months with residents, employers, landowners, officials and technical experts.

The Vision Plan starts by detailing the current health of the Watershed. It discusses our shared goals for protecting water quality, natural resources, and our communities; and how we can work together to meet these shared goals and make the vision reality by 2050. The Plan is a resource for anyone interested in learning more about the watershed and how to protect it!
OUR VISION
In 2050, the Musconetcong Watershed is a healthy ecosystem where people and nature coexist; the river and its aquifers are resilient to threats, restored as needed, and are a valued part of the thriving communities in which they flow.
