About the event

Join the Musconetcong Watershed Association at the Hackettstown Library for an engaging presentation on rain gardens—beautiful, low-maintenance native plant gardens designed to capture and filter stormwater runoff before it reaches our rivers and streams, provide habitat to pollinators and create amazing curb appeal in your yard.

You’ll get a hands-on look at a local Eagle Scout rain garden project right on site and learn how you can create your own rain garden at home. Our presentation will cover:

  • How to choose the right site and size for your rain garden.

  • Selecting native plants that thrive and support pollinators.

  • Step-by-step installation tips.

  • Simple maintenance to keep your rain garden flourishing for years.
