Ben Yaskulka
Policy and Advocacy Manager
Growing up fishing and hiking along the Musconetcong River, Ben developed a deep appreciation for New Jersey's natural resources, particularly its waterways. Hands-on experience at Alstede Farms, a designated River-Friendly Farm, furthered his understanding of agriculture's impact on watersheds. This fueled his passion for public service, leading him to Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he earned a BA in Political Science. During this time, he also served as State Chairman of the New Jersey College Republicans where he honed his leadership, policy analysis, and advocacy skills.
After college, Ben sought to combine his environmental interests with his public service background. He interned with New Jersey Conservation Foundation, assisting with volunteer management, and worked for 2 years in different roles for Duke Farms, gaining an understanding of their exemplary sustainability efforts.
Now, Ben is ready to dedicate his skills to protecting the watershed he grew up on. He aims to apply his policy experience, organizational talents, and lifelong passion for conservation to safeguard this vital region.
